LIVING INSIDE YOUR HEAD IS WHAT ALLOWS YOU TO CREATE, BUT WHAT DO YOU DO WHEN YOU HAVE TO TALK ABOUT YOUR WORK?

HAVE YOU EVER:

  • Sat through meetings in silence, occasionally opening your mouth but rarely able to get a word in before someone else interrupted?

  • Felt frustrated that you had so many ideas and weren’t able to share them?

  • Wanted to join the conversation but were terrified of having your ideas shot down?

I’ve been in those shoes and it pains me to watch talented people be overshadowed by the loudest talker in the room. That’s what drove me to start this business- to help others gain the skill and confidence to present their work and share their ideas.

I know what you’re thinking: Sure, it’s easy to give presentations if you’re outgoing and studied acting in college. Or if you enjoy the spotlight and gravitate toward the middle of the dance floor …. but that’s not your style, nor is it mine.

Many people think that public speaking is an innate talent but it’s just a skill that can be learned, like anything else you’ve picked up. Sure, it takes time and practice, but I believe that you don’t have to be a natural performer to be a powerful presenter.

FUN TIDBITS

I’m a long time New Yorker but I’m a child of hippies and grew up on a farm in rural West Virginia surrounded by chickens, goats, and 80 acres of open land. I live in Brooklyn with my husband and young daughter and look for every opportunity to incorporate the outdoors into our urban existence.

NOW WHAT ABOUT YOU?

Are you ready to dip your toes in the water?

I know you have ideas to share and I can’t wait to hear them.
